All flights are one hour in length. The total excursion including the flight, setup, packing up, and champagne toast is about three hours. All hot air balloon rides take place at sunrise due to the stability of the atmosphere and calm surface winds. We are based out of Park City, UT and offer flights in Summit County and surrounding areas.

Flying high above Salt Lake City

Bigfoot Balloons is owned and operated by Jake Thomas and Shannon Tuck. It was established in the far-eastern corner of Tennessee, in Chattanooga.

Flying high above the Appalachian Mountains had began as a hobby soon turned into a passion. ‘Chattanooga Balloon Company’ was born; the original pursuit that started it all. We have since changed our name to Bigfoot Balloons and relocated to Park City, UT to offer scenic hot air balloon rides in Utah.

Though we are still wholeheartedly passionate about flying we have discovered that ballooning is only worth doing if you are continually being inspired by the new people and places that you fly. This idea of moving and traveling with the balloon has directed and carried us all the way across the country.

Today, we are Bigfoot Balloons of Park City, floating around the Wasatch mountains in Utah. 

We hope to share the Salt Lake City sky with you on a balloon ride!
